Melissa serves as Chief Financial Officer of NXTsports, overseeing day-to-day financial activities, financial planning and reporting. Prior to joining NXT, Melissa was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Liberty SBF, a commercial real estate lending firm. She brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services holding management positions at Guggenheim Partners, BNP Paribas, SIG, and Vanguard where she focused on strategic operations and finance.
Melissa graduated from Lehigh University where she earned her B.S. in finance. She went on to pursue her MBA from Villanova University with a concentration in finance. Melissa resides in Philadelphia.

NXTsoccer, NXTsports’ soccer division, is excited to announce that it has bolstered its coaching staff by adding former Major League Soccer standout and U.S. Men’s National Team defender Jeff Parke as its Director of Boys Soccer.
As NXTsoccer’s Director of Boys Soccer, Parke will be tasked with overseeing the boys’ programming as NXTsoccer continues to develop into the Philadelphia region’s top soccer training program. He will be responsible for designing curriculum, leading programming and developing coaches to enable players to maximize their potential at all ages.
“I have known Jeff since age 10 and he was always a great teammate. Jeff is a true professional and his consistency helped him do the unexpected, which is go from last pick in the MLS Draft to one of the League’s top defenders and ultimately a member of the U.S. National team,” President of NXTsoccer Jeremiah White said. “Aside from our personal friendship, his story is one that will resonate with our athletes and our coaching staff. I am proud of what he has accomplished as a pro and excited that he has decided to share that experience with our NXTsoccer athletes.”
Parke is a local product who played for FC Delco before playing for four years at Drexel. He played for 10 seasons in MLS and one in USL First Division with stops with the New York Red Bulls, Vancouver Whitecaps, Seattle Sounders, Philadelphia Union and D.C. United. Parke was voted Seattle’s defender of the year in 2011 and 2012. He earned his lone U.S. Men’s National Team cap with an appearance against Panama in 2012.
“I’m thrilled to join the NXTsoccer staff and I think that our program has unbelievable potential,” Parke said. “I’m excited to work with the boys and bring my expertise to help them develop their game.”
Dr. Colton began her interest in orthopaedic surgery as a Division 1 basketball player at the University of New Hampshire. It was there that she met an orthopaedic surgeon who helped her teammate return to the game after a season-ending ACL rupture. In this she discovered the unique ability that a surgeon has in restoring athletes to full function. She served as team captain in her senior year and was named Scholar Athlete of the Year.
After medical school at Temple and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Penn, she furthered her surgical skills at the elite Rush University Medical Center, where she worked with the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls, as well as served as a team physician for a professional women's softball team and a minor league ice hockey team.
Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Colton is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, and the Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society. Her hospital affiliations include Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Springfield Hospital, Riddle Memorial Hospital, Roxborough Memorial Hospital, and the Surgery Center of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Colton received "Top Doctor" in Orthopedics, Main Line Today (2014).
Originally from the Ivory Coast, Ibrahim Toure joined NXTsoccer as Director of Goalkeeping in November 2015.
A current professional player for the Delaware Copperheads, Ibrahim was the starting goalkeeper for the Icon FC team that claimed the 2014-15 American Soccer League championship. He also has experience playing with Junior Lone Star of the National Premier Soccer League and the Ukrainian Nationals of the United Soccer League of Pennsylvania.
Ibrahim attended Union County College, where he helped lead the Owls to the 2013 NJCAA Conference Region XIX crown. In addition to his role at NXTsoccer, he serves as an assistant coach of the men’s soccer team at Rosemont College.
Stefan is the current Head Coach of Penn Fusion ECNL '99 and '02 Girls. He is also the current Head Coach of Central Bucks West Boys Soccer, his alma mater.
Stefan has seven years of coaching experience at the ECNL, ODP, club and high school level for both male and female players. Over the past few years, he has established himself as one of the top coaches in Eastern PA for female players and specializes in helping them navigate the collegiate recruiting process. He has helped players earn athletic scholarships at the NCAA Division I and Division II levels.
Stefan attended and played at Arcadia University from 2003-2007, advancing to the NCAA DIII Tournament in 2004 and 2006. He continued at the semi-professional level after college with the Pennsylvania Stoners of the NPSL, winning a National Championship in 2008. He holds a B.A. in International Business from Arcadia and an M.A. in General Education from La Salle University.
He is the Owner of IQ Sports Academy, LLC and currently resides in Ardmore, PA with his wife Samantha.

Amanda Kammes currently serves as the Director of NXT Girls Lacrosse Events. She oversees 10 Girls Lacrosse events which are open to youth through high school aged girls. NXT Girls Lacrosse events operate in 5 different states and reach over 300 club teams annually. Additionally, Kammes oversees the Fall and Summer Showcase and Invitational which offer some of the most premier recruiting events in the Mid-Atlantic and accept 500 of the most elite HS players in the country yearly.
Outside of NXT, Kammes is currently the Abington High School Varsity Head Coach, taking over the reigns of the program in 2015. Most recently, she served as the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for UC-Davis’ Division I women’s lacrosse team from 2012-15. She oversaw defensive systems, player development, camps, clinics and academic support for the team. Under her watch, the 2015 Aggies posted the highest GPA in program history and upset a ranked opponent for the first time in program history when they defeated Stanford (14) in 2013.
Prior to joining UC-Davis, Kammes served as the defensive coordinator at Garnet Valley High School, where she helped the Jaguars win back-to-back state championships in 2011 and 2012. She helped produce multiple All-Americans and academic All-Americans during her tenure.
Kammes' path to the lacrosse field is a unique one. She played Division I basketball at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also served as an assistant coach from 08-09, after starting her career and spending two seasons at American University (05-08). A Chicago native, Kammes has also served as the Regional Director for NXT’s Cradle Lacrosse and Dribble Hoops and serves as the NXT Lacrosse Girls NXT 2020 team's head coach. She holds a bachelor’s of science in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing education. Kammes currently resides in Philadelphia, PA.
Frank Clark is the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach of the Blake School. He is also the current Director of Player Development for Team MN and Empire 60. Coach Clark attended and played collegiately at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
In addition to the various lacrosse roles, Coach Clark is dedicated to continuing to grow the game in Minnesota!
As the Director of Operations for NXTtv, Adam is responsible for training and onboarding new hires as well as creating and implementing procedure for NXTtv. Adam also assists in scheduling internal marketing videos, website maintenance, professional inquires, and customer sales.
Adam joined the NXT family in January of 2016. He played hockey and lacrosse at New Milford (Conn.), where he was a four-time all-conference selection in lacrosse. He also played college lacrosse with his twin brother and fellow NXT employee Drew at Division I Hartford for NXT co-founder and Hawks head coach Peter Lawrence. At Hartford, Adam graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned America East Commissioner's Honor Roll honors three times.
For the past three years, Adam has lived and worked in Boston cultivating a career in Sales and Operations. He coached for Progression Lacrosse for five years and played for two years in the Boston Box League. He now resides in the Northern Liberties area of Philadelphia and enjoys snowboarding, playing lacrosse, and live music.
Casey joined NXT in August of 2015 after spending two years as an assistant coach on NXT LC Girls Director Kate Henwood’s coaching staff at Division I UC-Davis, where she spent time coaching the Aggies’ goalies and midfielders.
Kellogg played collegiately at Division I Hofstra University, where she earned a degree in marketing with a minor in fine arts. She was also named a team captain as a senior and was also tabbed a second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association choice in 2012. She made the Dean’s List and also collected CAA Commissioner’s Academic Awards throughout her career.
Kellogg, a Downingtown West (Pa.) alumna, also served on Hofstra’s sports marketing department during her undergraduate tenure.
An international athlete and entrepreneur, Jeremiah J. White III is a highly sought-after global business developer. His diverse clientele ranges from healthcare providers, Olympic Associations, Government agencies, to tourism and professional sports organizations.
Jeremiah was a high school All-American at The Haverford School in Pennsylvania and attended Wake Forest University in Winston Salem (N.C.), where he earned All-American honors in 2001-2003 and ACC Player of the Year during his final year of school.
Recognized for his speed and agility, Jeremiah’s transition from collegiate play to the professional ranks awarded him the opportunity to play soccer internationally. He played in Serbia, Greece, France, Denmark and Saudi Arabia and nationally with the New England Revolution in Boston (Mass.), as well as with the USA Men’s National Team in Los Angeles (Calif.). During his time abroad, Jeremiah earned a coveted Nike sponsorship.
Jeremiah is the owner of White Sports Ventures and its portfolio of companies which includes NXTSoccer and the Delaware Copperheads Pro soccer team. He is also the owner of JaySocial LLC and its portfolio of companies.
Ellis is the Director of Participant Health and Safety for NXTsports. She is the head athletic trainer in charge of medical staffing for all NXT programming and oversees the NXT Safety Initiative.
Ellis has been a part of the NXT family since 2010, when she started as an athletic trainer at the first Trashcan Lacrosse camp. Prior to joining NXT, she was a staff athletic trainer at Boston University, where she also received her master's degree in health education in 2015. Before her time in Boston, she was the head athletic trainer at Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast High Schools.
Ellis graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2009, where she earned her bachelor's of science in athletic training. She played club lacrosse at Penn State and now enjoys rowing down the Schuylkill. She is also an avid marathon runner.
Susie Macciocca is the founder and director for SPARK Field Hockey. She is thrilled to share her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for field hockey with young athletes in the Philadelphia area.
A former standout at Episcopal Academy in both field hockey and lacrosse, Susie played Division I field hockey at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem (N.C.). Susie has 15 years of coaching experience in youth sports, ranging from the youngest players to college-bound varsity athletes.
At the high school level, Susie assisted the Radnor varsity field hockey team, helping the team earn a bid to the District One playoffs in each of the seasons and a state tournament berth in 2009. Prior to assisting Radnor's team, Susie was the head coach at Springside School and an assistant at Rye Country Day School, helping the team win its first Independent School State Championship in 2004.
Before starting SPARK Field Hockey, Susie was a director at Filia in their field hockey division, co-founder and director of Strikers Field Hockey Camp, a U14 club team coach for Mystx Field Hockey Club, and a volunteer field hockey coach for the Whitpain Recreational Association.
She has also coached high school lacrosse for 15 years and is an assistant coach at Radnor.
Kate Henwood joined the NXT team in June of 2015 as the Director of Girls Lacrosse. She oversees the NXT Girls Lacrosse Club and all Girls Lacrosse Training/Educational programming.
A Garnet Valley ('01) and LaSalle ('05) alumna, Henwood coached the University of California-Davis Aggies for three seasons ('13-'15) after winning back-to-back state championships at Garnet Valley in her second and third seasons at the school. In her initial season at UC Davis, she led the Aggies to an upset of nationally-ranked conference rival Stanford.
Her Garnet Valley tenure ('10-'12) produced multiple All-Americans, brought the school its first two state titles and laid the foundation for what has become Pennsylvania's premier program. Prior to taking the helm at Garnet Valley, Henwood served as the top assistant and defensive coordinator at Villanova University ('07-'09), taught 8th grade social studies for 7 years at Garnet Valley, and earned her M.A. in American History from Villanova University.
She lives in Philadelphia.
An alumnus of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and The Portfolio Center, Brian Murray joins NXT's industry-leading Events division and brings a dazzling array of experience to the team.
Brian is tasked with implementing and executing the Events division' marketing, including print, web, video and on-site. He has also worked as a Freelance Creative Director, where he created work across multiple mediums for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to the U.S. government to startups and non-profits. Some of his clients included Home Depot, Dunkin Donuts, University of California and Schmidt's of Philadelphia.
Brian has also worked for Tierney Communications, 160over90, McKinney and The Republik, where he worked with top companies like Nike, the NFL's Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, Cornell University, Travelocity and Gold's Gym, among others.
Brian lives in Swarthmore.
A.J. is a native of Medford (N.J.). Prior to NXT, A.J. was a four-year varsity goalie at St. Joseph's Prep and was a part of the 2011 team that went to the PIAA championship game. A.J. attends Saint Joseph’s University where he is a rising junior pursuing a double major in sports marketing and finance double major. At SJU, he is involved in the planning of multiple events. A.J. also plays an active role in the community due to his involvement with the Weekly Service program at SJU.
Kelly Hamilton, a Warrington native, will be graduating in August 2015 from Lock Haven University with a B.A. in sport administration and a minor in sport and exercise psychology. She was a three-year captain of the women’s lacrosse team, which won two PSAC championships and was the NCAA Division II runner-up in both 2014 and 2015. Hamilton was a three time All-PSAC and a two-time All-American selection during her time at LHU and she was chosen to play in the IWLCA North/South Senior All-Star Game.
Jason is a rising junior at Elizabethtown College. He attended Friends’ Central where he earned 12 varsity letters in soccer, basketball and lacrosse. He is studying international business, with a double concentration in finance and economics and a Spanish minor. Injuries and sickness have played his two-year college career, but in his 13 games played he has tallied a total of 26 points. Jason joins the NXT team as an Event Management Intern.
Kyle began full-time with NXT in May 2015. In his role, he assists Joanna Johnson in managing external athletic programming at The Episcopal Academy and handles the operations and preparation of camps, clinics, clubs, and leagues. Kyle also directs internal NXT Leagues, including the Mid-Atlantic Lacrosse League and NXT Field Hockey Winter League.
Prior to joining NXT, Kyle spent six months working within operations at the United States Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista (Calif.) and three years as a member of the Temple athletic department as a student marketing assistant. During the summer of 2014, Kyle was a Facility Management Intern with NXT.
Kyle graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport and recreation management in May 2015. He currently resides in Philadelphia.
Lorraine Childs, a former Senior Project Manager at an identity management company, joins the NXTevents team as a Director, Events. Lorraine has an abundant amount of event experience, which will be viable to the NXTevents team. She has traveled the world supporting clients in their credential and access control needs. Her knowledge gained in organization and communication will translate well in all planning aspect of event execution. Lorraine has worked on projects that range from government to sports and entertainment. She has worked events like the Presidential Inaugurations, NBA, CONCACAF, and BET, to name a few.
Lorraine is a graduate of North Penn High School and Temple University. Lorraine grew up adoring sports and the outdoors. At a young age, she was introduced to sports through her brothers and quickly became an athlete at age five. Childs has always had a passion for a sport ,so she is excited to be part of the NXTteam. She has played soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball and field hockey and is also a proven winner on the football field as she led a three-year dynasty in powderpuff football at North Penn as the team's quarterback.
Ryan Long joins NXT after a successful three-year stint at Heineken USA, where he served as an on-premise sales representative. Long joins the country's top events management team, to which he brings a wealth of event experience from his time at the Pattison Sports Group, where he directed several tournaments and was the director of the Healthy Kids Running Series.
Long is a 2006 graduate of Penncrest High School and a 2010 alumnus of Neumann University, where he earned a bachelor of science in sport management. He is the Penncrest school record holder in the 800-meter run and was part of the relay team that broke the school record in the 4x800. His athletic prowess garnered him a scholarship to Robert Morris University, where he spent two years before transferring to Neumann.
Long interned with the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, among a handful of previous stops. He resides in West Chester.
Drew joins the NXT staff after his time at South Kent School, in South Kent (Conn.). At South Kent, Drew was the head coach of the boys' lacrosse team, as well as a faculty member, teaching pre-engineering and African-American history.
Prior to working at South Kent, Drew played four years of lacrosse at the University of Hartford, where he was named captain in his senior year. and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in U.S history and a minor in sociology. Drew started with NXT in the inaugural class of NXT Leaders before working for eight months in NXT's Chicago office. Drew then returned to Philadelphia in a full-time events capacity.
Drew was named Assistant Director of Field Operations and Events in November 2015. Drew will assist in NXTevents, Showcase Lacrosse and MVP Lacrosse Camps. Drew resides to the Northern Liberties neighborhood in Philadelphia, where he lives with his twin and Director of Operations for NXTtv, Adam.
Carly joined NXT in the fall of 2014 as the assistant director of operations, education were she was responsible for overseeing and implementing all operations within the division. Carly became the director of operations, education in 2015 where she worked directly for field hockey's sport head and along side soccer and lacrosse directors of operations. In 2016, she paved her way working full-time in the NXT marketing division as brand marketing manager for education and TV and works directly with the director of marketing. Carly implements and creates all education and TV marketing brand, strategies, materials and emails. She also oversees all of education’s digital and web assets.
Carly graduated cum laude from Washington College in 2014 with a B.A.in business management and minor in art. She was a member of the women’s lacrosse team, where she was a two-time captain and received the Elizabeth “Bo” Blanchard Memorial Sportsmanship Award in 2013 and the Thomas Reeder Speeden Medal in 2014. In her four years, she was named second-team IWLCA All-Metro Region and All-Centennial Conference first team in 2014 and Centennial Conference Honorable mention in 2012.
A native of Baltimore (Md.), Carly grew up in Towson and graduated from Towson High School.
Brett is a defenseman and assistant captain of the New England Black Wolves, and also has played professionally outdoors for the Philadelphia Wings, Rochester Rattlers and the Chesapeake Bayhawks of the MLL. Manney is a 2008 graduate of the University of Delaware where he served as team captain his Senior year and helped the legendary 2007 Blue Hen men’s squad reach the NCAA final four. For his off-field contributions to the school and community, Brett was awarded the school’s Outstanding Male Athlete Contributor. Brett is also a Bucks County native and was a standout three-sport athlete at Holy Ghost Prep. A trailblazer, he was one the very first NCAA division one lacrosse recruits to emerge from Lower Bucks County.
Aside from his lacrosse credentials, Brett is an accomplished journalist. He currently serves as a television broadcaster for the Ohio Machine of the MLL, and also has worked extensively for ESPNHS as a writer and lacrosse talent evaluator. As Vice President of Sales & Recruiting at NXTsports, Manney uses his lacrosse and journalism backgrounds to plan and implement Showcase Lacrosse events, company media relations, marketing and communications strategies. Brett also continues to serve as a highly popular member of the NXT Lacrosse Club coaching staff.
Joel serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of NXT Sports, overseeing day-to-day operations, financial planning, and business development. Prior to joining NXT Joel was an associate with Pepper Hamilton LLP in Philadelphia specializing in antitrust litigation. Before attending law school, Joel worked in finance for the Philadelphia Phillies and as a producer for Fox Sports International in Los Angeles.
Joel graduated from Williams College (Mass.) in 1996, where he played baseball and basketball. He earned a J.D. from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 2005. He currently resides in Philadelphia with his wife Jill, and children Harper and Trevor.
Marty Kupprion serves as the Director of NXTlacrosse. In that role, he supports all of NXT's educational and club lacrosse-related efforts. An original member of the NXTsports leadership team, Coach Kupp helped build NXT's circular efforts for Cradle Lacrosse, Trashcan Lacrosse and NXT Lacrosse Club, while also helping to attract and manage many of the area's top young coaches. He was the head coach of the first club team, NXT 2014 and now leads the NXT 2017 team.
Marty recently left a second grade classroom teaching job at Episcopal Academy to join the NXT team in a full-time role. He spent four years at EA, including roles as a writing specialist, after-care coordinator and three years running his own classroom. Entering his sixth season with the Churchmen, he continues to serve as an assistant to Andy Hayes with the Episcopal varsity lacrosse team. Marty was a star player at Episcopal Academy and the University of Delaware, where he earned a degree in elementary education and and was a member of the 2007 Blue Hen Final Four team. Marty also holds a master's degree in education from Cabrini College and frequently tutors young students. Marty currently resides in downtown Philadelphia with his fiancee Jenny.
Peter Lawrence serves as head men's lacrosse coach at the University of Hartford, and as President of NXTsports’ Trashcan and Cradle lacrosse divisions. Under Coach Law’s leadership, NXT has created truly unique, innovative and replicable curriculums for both Trashcan and Cradle. As the 2011 NEILA Coach of the Year, Coach Law guided Hartford to the 2011 America East Championship and earned the Hawks their first berth in the NCAA tournament.
Peter was a standout player at Roanoke College where he led the Maroons to three straight NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, was a two time All-American selection, and was drafted by the Bridgeport Barrage of the MLL. Lawrence resides in West Hartford, CT with his wife Meghan and children Finn, Rowan and Emery.
Andy Hayes is the co-founder of NXTsports and serves as President & CEO of the company. In the spring of 2014 Andy enters his ninth season as head lacrosse coach at Episcopal Academy in Philadelphia’s highly competitive Inter-Ac league. His 2012 Churchmen finished nationally ranked while finishing 18-5 and winning the Inter-Ac Invitational Championship. Andy also serves as the US Lacrosse Area Representative for Eastern Pennsylvania and has designed well-regarded lacrosse training curriculums for all age levels, and frequently lectures at coaching clinics nationwide. He recently was invited to give his lecture - Youth Practice - Drills to Play Fast - on the live demo field at the 2013 U.S. Lacrosse Convention.
A standout athlete who won All-NESCAC honors in both sports, Andy captained the varsity lacrosse and soccer teams at Trinity College (Conn.) while earning a B.S. in Biology. He resides in Philadelphia.
