Participant Safety

Participant Safety

The health and safety of all our participants is NXT's highest priority. We will work to set the standard for safety in youth sports. Some features of NXT’s safety practices are described below.

Medical Care

Unless the program is non-contact for younger athletes, NXT staffs an athletic trainer or athletic trainers at every NXT educational program. NXT strives to ensure that its coaching leadership is fully CPR and AED certifiied. NXT collects emergency contact information for each participant so parents can be notified if necessary.

Weather Safety

NXT subscribes to Schneider Electric’s industry-leading weather monitoring service. Schneider is the official service of the NCAA and is utilized by most MLB organizations. The system virtually monitors every venue where NXT operates and sends automatic text updates to the event director whenever there is a weather threat.

Parent Communication

Parents can subscribe to text alert system for camp and program updates. All camps post multiple daily updates on social media.

Emergency Action Plan

NXT creates an Emergency Action Plan for each venue at which it runs events.
